Petrolina has been distinguished with three prestigious awards at the Cyprus Responsible Business Awards 2023. The company received the Gold Award for the Petrolina Community and Petrolina Kids Community Volunteer Program, the Silver Award for Actions Towards Cypriot Society, and the Bronze Award for its support and contribution to Sports and Culture.
Petrolina’s creation of the Petrolina Community and Petrolina Kids Community volunteer teams, as part of its commitment to social solidarity programs, has earned the company the Gold Award in the “Volunteer Program” category. The Petrolina Community volunteer team, consists of all employees , service stationowners, and their families, who actively participate in the company’s social initiatives. Volunteerism has been embraced and adopted by all employees, demonstrating enormous commitment, generosity and solidarity through numerous actions towards Cypriot society. Additionally, Petrolina Community organizes annual blood donation drives involving both employees and management.
Petrolina earned the Silver Award in the “Society” category for all its efforts under the theme “Petrolina stands by Cypriot society,” recognising Petrolina’s broad spectrum of CSR actions. These actions encompass social solidarity, health, sports, culture, education, environmental protection, and workplace environment. The Petrolina Festival is the culmination of the company’s CSR actions.
Additionally, Petrolina was honoured with the Bronze Award in the “Sports/Culture” category for its consistent contribution and support to sports and cultural activities. The company believes that nurturing education, culture, ethos, and athletic ideals are crucial for building a more progressive society for future generations.
