New yellow warning for extreme temperatures in effect

The maximum temperature in inland areas is forecast to reach 41°C

The Cyprus Meteorological Service has issued a new yellow weather warning due to expected high temperatures.

The maximum temperature in inland areas is forecast to reach 41°C.

The warning will be in effect from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM tomorrow.

Meanwhile, temperatures on the west and southwest coasts will reach 33 degrees Celsius, temperatures on the north coast will rise to a high of 36 degrees Celsius, temperatures on the rest of the coasts will reach 35 degrees Celsius, and temperatures in the mountains will reach 31 degrees Celsius.
