Cyprus and Pakistan express willingness to strengthen bilateral relations

The willingness of Cyprus and Pakistan to strengthen bilateral relations was noted during the credentials presentation to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi by High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus Andreas Kouzoupis, at a ceremony held recently at the Aiwan-e-Sadr Presidential Palace in Islamabad.

According to a press release by the Press and Information Office (PIO), Kouzoupis conveyed the warm greetings of President Nikos Christodoulides to the President of Pakistan, noting Cyprus’ willingness to further develop and expand bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields.
It is added that while welcoming the High Commissioner of Cyprus, President Alvi referred to the importance of strengthening the bilateral cooperation between Cyprus and Pakistan, as well as the EU-Pakistan Partnership, while returning the warm greetings of the President of the Republic, President Alvi assured Kouzoupis that he will have his full support in carrying out his work.
